A journalist and his mission: sharing is caring.
It's a crisp winter morning here in Milan. One of those days marked by a tight series of meetings, often organized at times so close to each other and in opposite areas of the city that not even Flash would arrive on time and every one of those.

To break the Milanese soundtrack, made up of horns, roaring cars and trams clattering along their tracks, comes the inimitable chirping of an NGS3 on which Luca Talotta joins us. Young dad (he just took his two princesses to kindergarten) and sports journalist ("a wonderful job, which every day allows me to learn about new topics and gain new experiences"), Luca is also one of the most important Italian green influencers. Every day, in fact, more than 84,000 people follow him on Instagram to discover the latest trends in electric mobility: "adopting a sustainable lifestyle as an end in itself, for me, made no sense: you have to make it clear to who you are the added value of this choice lies around”.

And it is precisely about green lifestyles, good sustainable habits and electric vehicles that we want to talk to him.

Luca, what is the top 3 of your good green habits?

The best good green habits are also the simplest: recycling as much as possible (many of my followers make good fun of me because I made going to the garbage a daily appointment, labelling it as "father's time"); then small sustainable domestic investments are also very useful, such as, for example, the water purifier (do you know how much you save in terms of plastic water bottles?); finally, drive the electric scooter or, in any case, move with alternative combustion systems (whether they are shared or owned).

Speaking of electric scooters, you have now done several km with your NGS3: have you already driven an e-scooter? What struck you about NGS as soon as you got on the bike?

Yes, I had already had the pleasure of driving an e-scooter, especially those of sharing. The thing that struck me immediately, without wanting to belittle all the vehicle's skills and peculiarities, was the silence. Even today, after a long day of work, I still happen to go home and enjoy the silence of my NGS3; I also give up the music in the headphones, I only tell you this ...

If you had to define your NGS with one word, which one would you choose?

Let me use two words: nimbly innovative. Nimbly because it has nothing to envy to the rest of the scooters on the market; innovative because it brings a breath of fresh air to the world of two wheels. And it allows me to have a clear conscience in terms of pollution.

Why would you recommend an Askoll e-scooter to get around the city?

I would tell you "I won't answer you, go and review all my stories on Instagram to find out, there are lots of tips". But I'm good, and then I'll answer you (laughs, ed). There are many reasons: economic savings because you say goodbye to gasoline, no CO2 emissions, you forget what the traffic block is but, above all, it is a made in Italy product. And, whenever possible, Italian companies must be helped.

Luca, you are one of the leading Italian green influencers, so you know about it. How do you see the future of mobility in general and of electric mobility specifically?

Traditional mobility will have to deal with many problems, some also deriving from the right impositions in terms of emissions envisaged by Europe. In fact, this will force many companies to press the accelerator to implement research and development; if Tesla has decided to open its own electric battery manufacturing company directly in Germany, there must be a reason.

Certainly, however, politics and all those companies that revolve around the automotive sector will also have to move, implement columns, services in general, and new mobility forms.

For its part, the electrician will have to be ready for an invasion that will be massive. And it will presumably face the obstacle of clashing with the oil lobbies.

We thank Luca for sharing your experience with us. We invite you to follow him, his adventures and his dad's moments from now on Instagram!
