A new energy is coming to town.
Smart city. Only a few years ago this was only a fleeting concept. Today, the idea of a smart, livable city is more real than ever.

Many aspects make cities smart. First of all, they need to be more sustainable. We’re talking about, not only in an environmental way (a very positive macro-trend that will be relevant in the years to come). We are talking about sustainability as a synonym for livable. Traffic, wild parking habits, even temporary bans on urban traffic, all this makes moving around town harder and harder.

Think about this: on average, we travel about 10 km every day. Each year, we spend around 45 hours stuck in traffic jams, and, when we can go around, the average speed of a car in town is about 30 km/h. Simply put, it’s time to find an agiler, more effective, and also inexpensive, alternative to the four wheels.

During Eicma 2019, Askoll showcases itself as one of the primary providers of sustainable mobility. We are presenting not only a wider product range for the private sector but also expanding our solutions for the sharing mobility. Next year we will launch not only an innovative business model dedicated to bike sharing, but also a kick scooter dedicated to the European and American markets, which has already collected the approval of our clients.
