Real life stories: Nicola, a graphic artist and his S1.
Nicola is 34 years old. He is a young professional, keen on photography, design and life in the open air. He works in the old town centre of Vicenza and lives out of town: for years Nicola has travelled to work by car. This is why he felt he needed a scooter, a practical vehicle for getting about in the traffic. Why did he decide to buy an Askoll scooter? We met Nicola in a small bar in Vicenza where, in front of a coffee, he told us about his choice.

Hi, Nicola, tell us something about yourself.

I’m 34 and for three years I’ve been working as a graphic artist in a communication agency in the old centre of Vicenza. But I live in Dueville, a small town about ten kilometres from here. I am very fond of travelling, along with my trusty camera.

How did you decide to buy a scooter?

I love to be on the move, and not only for long journeys. I often organize days in natural surroundings, I go to concerts, art exhibitions, design markets. Besides my hobbies, there is also a real need: to optimise travelling time and the expenses I have every day in getting to work.

Where did you get the idea of an electric scooter?

When I decided to buy a scooter, I was fascinated by the electric world. I had heard about it, but I didn’t know it. I was surprised to see that the prices are not higher than traditional models: in some cases, you even make a saving.

Why did you choose Askoll?

I have always been interested in the world of ecosustainability in general, and I believe that technology can solve a lot of our problems. Askoll has succeeded in combining ecosustainability and technology in products that are efficient, good-looking and convenient. The fact that they are completely made in Italy is a big plus point for me.
