The new scooters have arrived, and we can't wait for you to discover all the news! The 2022 range has refreshed the look and updated some functional features, improving technical performance for both the EVOlution line and the NGS scooters.

A first exciting novelty affects the price of the eS₂ EVOlution and NGS2 vehicles. eS₂ 1.4 and NGS2 1.4 were born mopeds with only one battery designed for those who do not need too much autonomy by making short distances. That way, the scooters maintain the same speed and acceleration performance but at a much lower price. Their battery recharges in about 3 hours (it takes just over an hour and a half to go from 25% to 80%), and they have a maximum range of 42 km - ideal for your journeys in the city (where, on average, you travel about 10 km per day).

But that is not all. Among the functional features introduced, we find the reverse gear: it is present in all vehicles in the 2022 range, it reaches a speed of 3 km / h, and activates itself with the help of the selector on the right side of the handlebar.

To make travel comfortable and carefree at all times, the eS EVOlution line, from this year, is equipped with a side stand, a practical aid designed to simplify and facilitate parking operations.

If the eS EVOlution line lends itself to remain the reference point for those who want a light, compact and easy-to-drive vehicle, the NGS range is designed for an audience who is looking for a more traditional aesthetic and gritty performance.

Let's start with the L1s (our vehicles comparable to the classic "cinquantini"): we have already talked about NGS2 1.4; now it is the turn of the NGS2 2.8, now upgraded with a 2.7 kW engine (until 2021, it was a 2.2 kW engine) which gives it more cue and a maximum range of 87 km.

Finally, all NGS scooters are now equipped with larger wheels, with 90/80 - 16" front tires and 110/10 - 16" rear tires, giving them an even more gritty design, excellent stability, and more grip when cornering in the cobbles and between the tram tracks. With better road holding and comfort, urban journeys will be smoother and more agile, even on rough roads.

There is also room for tech lovers since the NGS line features a new multicolour display with a horizontal rather than vertical configuration. The 5.5-inch display has a new arrangement of information to make it more functional and readable, and it is also possible to choose between different colours for the backlight.

Speaking of technology and IoT, all eS EVOlution and NGS scooters communicate with the Askoll Smart Drive App. It will follow every adventure on your two electric wheels and with which you can monitor the mileage, the remaining battery level, the estimate of autonomy for each travel mode, savings - both CO₂ and economic -, and maintenance notices.

Finally, a service communication to the fashion victims: let's talk about aesthetics. All 2022 scooters have a new look... and there is something for everyone:

- eS₂ 1.4 is available in elegant Silver Satin or in a gritty Anthracite, with sporty red details;
- eS₂ EVOlution 2.8, available in Silver Satin and Anthracite, takes on a relaxing Ocean Blue colour;
- eS₃ EVOlution takes on a very cool glossy white shade, or a very trendy titanium matt colour or a brand new azure shade that is very zen.
- NGS2 1.4 is available in Glossy White or Titanium Matt
- NGS2 2.8 takes on the tones of Silver Satin, the bright ones of Azure or the resolute ones of Anthracite
- Finally, NGS3 is available not only in Titanium Matt or a vivid Ocean Blue but also in Gold, which is very haute couture.
